LÁZNĚ HOUŠTKA

Abstract

Návrh lázní navrací Staré Boleslavi, jako historicky i nábožensky významnému městu, jednu z bývalých funkcí. Pro návrh využívám rekreačně léčebný potenciál současného lesoparku a bývalého lázeňského areálu Houštka. Koncepce návrhu urbanismu areálu vychází z historických podkladů a současného stavu. Definování os rozděluje park na funkční zóny protkané sítí cest. Lázeňství, které navracím do těžiště oblasti, je spojnicí současné rekreační, sportovní a kulturní funkce areálu. Návrh lázeňské budovy reflektuje někdejší budovu Slunečních lázní z první poloviny 20. století, která v současnosti hrdě chátrá v jádru oblasti.

The spa proposal returns one former function to the historically and religiously significant town Stara Boleslav. The design is placed in the historical location of the spa in the local forest park Houštka with the recreational and therapeutic potential. The concept of the urban design is based on the historical background and the current state. Defining the axes divides the park into functional zones connected with a network of paths. The spa which I am returning to the centre of the area is the link between the current recreational, sport and cultural functions of the area. The building reflects the historical Sun Baths structure from the first half of the 20th century, which is now proudly decaying in the core of the area.
