Ústí nad Labem - urbanistická studie transformace centra západ

Abstract

Tématem diplomové práce je zpracování územní studie v lokalitě Ústí nad Labem - Západ. Diplomová práce je rozdělena do dvou částí - konkrétně předdiplomovou, řešící celkovou urbanistickou koncepci transformované části města, a diplomovou, která se zabývá komplexním řešením veřejného prostranství s nově navrženými přilehlými objekty. V rámci předdiplomního projektu bylo řešeno území širšího centra Ústí nad Labem - území bývalé průmyslové čtvrti, rozprostírající se mezi chemickým závodem, ulicí Panská a železničním koridorem nádraží Ústí nad Labem - Západ. Toto území je v současné době periferií na okraji městského centra a brownfieldem, který má však díky zvažovanému umístění terminálu vysokorychlostní železnice obrovský potenciál. Rozlehlé plochy řešeného území pokrývá nesčetné množství odstavných parkovacích stání, ale také rozpadající se pozůstatky bývalé dělnické bytové zástavby. V řešeném území lze nalézt několik historických objektů, které odkazují na průmyslovou minulost oblasti - například železniční vlečka a zbylé tovární objekty s komíny. Urbanistický návrh na tyto hodnoty reagoval a začlenil je do nové urbanistické struktury. Diplomový projekt se zabývá komplexním řešením veřejného prostoru v okolí nově navrženého dopravního terminálu. Řeší také funkční využití nových souborů budov a vytváří návrh centrálního náměstí.

The topic of the diploma thesis is the elaboration of a urban study in the locality of Ústí nad Labem - West. The thesis is divided into two sections - namely the undergraduate, addressing the overall urban concept of the transformed part of the city, and the diploma thesis, which deals with a comprehensive solution of public spaces with newly designed adjacent buildings. As part of the undergraduate project, the area of ​​the wider center of Ústí nad Labem - the area of ​​the former industrial district, extending between the chemical plant, Panská Street and the Ústí nad Labem - West railway corridor, was addressed. This area is currently a periphery on the edge of the city center and a brownfield, which, however, has huge potential due to the fact, that it is being considered as location of the high-speed rail terminal. Large areas of the dictrict are covered by countless parking spaces, but also the crumbling remains of former workers‘ housing. There can also be found several historic buildings that refer to the industrial past of the area - such as the railway siding and the remaining factory buildings with characteristic chimneys. The urban design responded to these values ​​and incorporated them into the new urban structure. The diploma project deals with a comprehensive solution of public space in the vicinity of the newly designed transport terminal. It also addresses the functional use of new sets of buildings and creates a design for the central square.
