Abstract

Bytový dům se nachází v jedné z mnoha proluk v oblasti mezi náměstí Bratří Synků a Otakarovou. Nalezneme zde nejrůznější typy budov, tovární komíny i přízemní přístřešky. Návrh se snaží o nenásilné vyplnění téměř 24m široké proluky mezi prvorepublikovými bytovými domy. Uliční fasáda domu je vertikálně dělena na tři části kvůli větší šířce proluky, než ostatních domů. Důležitou součástí projektu je vnitroblok, kde je pro potřeby studie počítáno s odstraněním současné jednopodlažní zástavby a vytvořením podzemních velkokapacitních garáží pro téměř celý blok a s vytvořením parku nad nimi.

The apartment building is located in one of the many gap sites in the area between Náměstí Bratří Synků and Otakarová. Various types of buildings, factory chimneys and ground floor sheds can be found in that area. The project aims to harmoniously fill an almost 24 m wide gap between the adjacent apartment buildings. The street facade of the house is vertically divided into three parts due to the greater width of the gap than in the other houses. An important part of the project is the courtyard: for the purpose of the study the removal of the current single-storey buildings, the creation of underground large-capacity garages for almost the entire block and the creation of a park above them are planned.
