Abstract

Obsahem této bakalářské práce je návrh nové budovy Katolické teologické fakulty Univerzity Karlovy. Návrh budovy je situován do areálu klášterních zahrad u Emauzského kláštera v Praze 2 na Novém Městě. Budova disponuje prostory potřebnými pro fungování katedry. Centrálním motivem stavby je atrium, které propojuje všechna nadzemní podlaží. Též knihovna využívá více podlaží. V jednotlivých patrech se nachází posluchárny, učebny, kabinety i kaple. Cílem práce je nabídnout objekt, který bude vyhovovat potřebám školy.

The content of this bachelor thesis is a design of a new building of the Catholic Theological Faculty of Charles University. The building is located in the gardens of the Emmaus Monastery in Prague 2, the New Town. The building provides enough room for the needs of the faculty. The central motive of the building is the atrium which connects all floors above the ground. The library is situated in several floors as well. On each floor there are placed the lecture halls, classrooms, offices and the chapel. The aim of this thesis is to offer the building design that will meet the needs of the faculty.
