Analýza cen BITCOIN

Abstract

Bakalářská práce se zabývá kryptoměnou bitcoin a analýzou její ceny. V první části se čtenář dozví, co bitcoin je, na co se aktuálně využívá a zda má potenciál nahradit běžné fiat měny. Dále se podíváme, jaké jiné možnosti investicí nabízí finanční trh a shrneme si jejich výhody a nevýhody. V praktické části je provedena analýza vývoje ceny bitcoinu, která během posledních pěti let vzrostla o více než 13 000 %. Čtenář zjistí, jak moc je cena bitcoinu volatilní a kdy může očekávat růst ceny. Projdeme si scénáře, které mohou nastat a ovlivnit cenu bitcoinu jak směrem vzhůru, tak rizika, která mohou způsobit propad ceny. Dále provedeme analýzu vzácnosti a zjistíme, zda je bitcoin vzácnější než zlato. Závěr práce odpoví na otázku, zda by investor měl nakoupit právě bitcoin.

The bachelor´s thesis is focused on cryptocurrency bitcoin and on analysis of its price. First, the reader can learn what bitcoin is and what it´s currently being used to and whether it has the potential to replace fiat currencies. Next, we will find out what other investment options does financial market offer and we´ll summarize their pros and cons. Practical part shows the price analysis of bitcoin in which we learn that in the last five years the price has risen by more than 13 000 %. The reader discovers how much is the price of bitcoin volatile and when he can expect another price increase. We´ll go through probable scenarios which can cause the price of bitcoin to rise or fall. Next, we´ll perform a scarcity analysis which will tell us whether the bitcoin is scarcer that gold. The conclusion of the work will help potential investor decide whether to buy bitcoin.
