This bachelor thesis is focused on the comparison of imaging of selected gastrointestinal diseases (Crohn's disease, HCC and colorectal cancer) using CT and MR. The theoretical part describes three diseases (mentioned above) of the GIT and CT and MR imaging methods - their principles, the course of image reconstruction, instrumentation, radiological protection, etc. Attention is also paid to the role of the radiological assistant in these operations. In the practical part, 3 real case studies are presented, in which examination on CT and MR took place. Then the results of the examination are presented. Subsequently, the advantages and disadvantages of both methods in all three cases are discussed.
