The topic of this thesis is evaluating the DNS method in junior hockey players. This method has been compared to usual stretching for more relevant and specific information. 10 participants were included in this research, where 5 participants (group A) followed the DNS method and the remaining 5 participants (group B) stretched normally. The results of both groups have been graphically demonstrated, the main comparing factors were the objective improvement of movement range and the subjective feeling of the participants. The theoretical part of this thesis is concerned with the stabilization system within the basic anatomic knowledge of the body, the basic structural problems of hockey players, that have been shown according to the kinesiologic analysis in the special part, and the basis of the DNS method. The methodology of the thesis mentions the description of the exercise units in a given time frame.
