The subject of this thesis „Possibilities of Integration of Commercial Electronics into Vehicles“ is research and analysis of possibilities of using cheap commercial electronics in vehicles for a purpose of monitoring driver's health condition in place of original vehicle electronics. Reader is introduced to human physiological functions and principles of their monitoring. This is followed by research and analysis of current sensory capabilities of commercial electronics. Based on this research, suitable physiological function and sensors are chosen for experimental evaluation. In the practical part of this work, there is description of the experiment. The experiment is evaluated and its results are compared using QFD method. Outcome of this process is determining, which of the evaluated sensors are the best suited for driver’s health condition monitoring.
