Prognóza vývoje business intelligence

Abstract

Diplomová práce pojednává o současném trhu Business Intelligence a jeho největších doda-vatelích BI platforem a řešení. Na začátku je čtenář seznámen s pojmem Business Intelligence (dále také BI) a se všemi náležitostmi, které jsou důležité pro správné pochopení dané pro-blematiky. Následně jsou vysvětleny pojmy, které neodmyslitelně patří k BI, protože práce s daty je zde základním stavebním kamenem. V práci jsou uvedeny jednotlivé komponenty, které spadají pod BI a jsou jeho součástí. Za zmínku stojí i kapitola, která je věnována Artificial Intelligence (dále také AI). AI je pro samotnou práci a výzkum nepostradatelnou částí, protože společnosti investují rovněž do vývoje AI aplikací. Práce představuje i nejnovější trendy v oblasti Business Intelligence a jejich potencionální růst do budoucna. Využití těchto trendů a jejich popularita na poli BI je podrobně rozebrána v práci. Další kapitolu diplomové práce tvoří část věnovaná rozšíření BI v jednotlivých odvětvích podniku včetně toho, jak se v průběhu let vyvíjela důležitost BI napříč celou organizací. Cílem této diplomové práce je analyzovat současnou situaci na trhu včetně budoucího vývoje Business Intelligence u jednot-livých poskytovatelů BI řešení. Diplomová práce se na vývoj trhu dívá z několika různých po-hledů a zkoumá, která společnost má nejlepší předpoklady dalšího vývoje a investicí do rozvo-je BI. Nejprve jsou analyzovány všechny společnosti a jejich ekonomická situace a posléze jsou provedeny prognózy na základě jejich minulých příjmů za jednotlivá fiskální období. Mezi světové hráče na trhu patří velké nadnárodní společnosti, které zaujímají nejen velký podíl na trhu, ale zároveň mají dle studie od analytické společnosti Gartner solidní předpoklady pro další rozvoj.

Diploma thesis discusses the current market of Business Intelligence and its largest suppliers of BI platforms and solutions. At the beginning, the reader is acquainted with the concept of Business Intelligence and with all the essentials that are important for a proper understand-ing of the issue. Subsequently, the terms that inherently belong to BI are explained, because data processing is an essential element here. The work lists the individual components that fall under BI and are part of it. I consider it important to mention the chapter devoted to Artificial Intelligence. AI is an indispensable part of the work and research, as companies also invest in the development of AI applications. The work also presents the latest trends in Business Intelligence and their potential growth in the future. The use of these trends and their popularity in the field of BI is discussed in detail in the work. Another chapter of the thesis consist of a section devoted to the expansion of BI in individual sectors of the compa-ny, including how the importance of BI has developed over the years throughout the organi-zation. The aim of this thesis is to analyse the current market situation, including the future development of Business Intelligence for individual providers of BI solutions. Diploma thesis examines market development from several different perspectives and examines which company has the best prerequisites for further development and investment in the devel-opment of BI. Firstly, all companies and their economic situation are analysed and then fore-casts are made based on their past revenues for each fiscal period. The global market players include large multinational companies that not only have a large market share but also have a solid ground for further development, according to a study by analytic company Gartner.
