Přestože počet žen zaměstnaných v průmyslových firmách v posledních letech mírně stoupá, je potenciál širšího zapojení a uplatnění žen ve všech profesích, které potřebují firmy strojírenské výrobní techniky, stále veliký. Strojírenské firmy, a to i firmy sdružené v SST, zaměstnávají s velkou převahou muže a stále bojují s nedostatkem zájmu uchazečů téměř o všechny pozice. Zvýšení zájmu dívek a žen o práci ve strojírenství může vést ke zlepšení bilance chybějících profesionálů pro práci v oboru strojírenské výrobní techniky.

Although the number of women employed in industrial firms has increased slightly in recent years, the potential for wider engagement and empowerment of women in all professions needed by engineering manufacturing companies is still high. Engineering firms, even those associated with SST, employ a large majority of men and still struggle with the lack of candidates' interest in almost all positions. Increasing the interest of girls and women in working in mechanical engineering can lead to an improvement in the balance of missing professionals in the field of mechanical engineering.
