Abstract

Diplomová práce se zabývá návrhem zástavby území tzv. Nového Sedlce. Vzhledem k unikátnímu krajinnému rámci a poloze na okraji města bylo cílem vytvořit moderní zahradní město, které respektuje panorama pohledově exponované lokality, podpoří návaznost cenných přírodních celků a zároveň svým obyvatelům nabídne pestrou škálu služeb, která částečně pokryje potřeby příměstských obcí. Návrh počítá se zcela novou zástavbou, jejíž hustota je nejvyšší u Kamýcké ulice a ustupuje směrem k zelenému pásu na skalnaté hraně. Osou čtvrti je tramvajová trať do Suchdola, která dala vzniknout městské třídě, na niž jsou navázány veřejné prostory včetně ústředního náměstí, jehož řešení je podrobně rozpracováno ve druhé části práce.

This thesis deals with the project of housing development in the area of the so called “Nový Sedlec”. Given the unique landscape surroundings and the situation on the edge of the town, the aim was to create a modern garden city respecting the panorama of the visually exposed location, supporting the continuity of the valuable natural units while also offering varied services to its inhabitants in order to also partially cover the needs of suburban villages. The project involves the brand-new housing development, the density of which is at its highest point in the area of Kamýcká Street and recedes in the direction of the green belt on the rocky edge. The axis of the quarter is the tramway to Suchdol, which gave rise to a city avenue tying together public spaces including the central square, the solution of which is elaborated in detail in the second part of the thesis.
