Analýza mechanických vlastností živých buněk

Abstract

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá mechanickými vlastnostmi živých buněk, konkrétně rakovinových buněk melanomu, které byly měřeny pomocí kompresního experimentu. Pro získání modulu pružnosti z experimentálních dat byl použit analytický model, respektující geometrii buněk a uvažující buňku jako tenkostěnnou skořepinu. Práce poskytuje srovnání mechanických vlastností živých buněk kultivovaných na čtyřech odlišných podkladech.

This master thesis deals with mechanical properties of living cells, specifically with the cancerous melanoma cells, which have been measured by compression experiment. An analytical model, respecting cell geometry and considering the cell as a thin-walled shell was used to obtain the elastic modulus from the experimental data. This thesis provides a comparison of mechanical properties of living cells cultivated on four distinct surfaces.
