Konverze elektrárny Holešovice

Abstract

Předmětem diplomové práce je architektonický návrh konverze bývalé elektrárny v Praze - Holešovicích. Revitalizace území, které v současné době není přístupno veřejnosti byla řešena spolu s kolegyní v předdiplomním projektu. Záměrem urbanistického návrhu bylo vytvoření atraktivního místa pulzujícího životem, které zahrnuje rezidenční, administrativní a kulturní funkci. Důraz byl kladen na industriální potenciál místa a citlivý přístup k historickým hodnotám. Centrem území se stává náměstí s památkově chráněnou historickou budovou elektrárny, jež spolu s cihelným komínem tvoří přirozenou dominantu. Návrh konverze elektrárny respektuje estetické hodnoty historického objektu a zachovává vnímání vnitřního prostoru. Nové funkce jsou vnášeny do interiéru jednoduchými vestavěnými hmotami. Dochází k rozšíření veřejného prostoru náměstí do budovy, kde je umožněn volný organický pohyb návštěvníků mezi různými funkcemi nabízejícími kulturní a sportovní vyžití.

The subject of my diploma thesis is a conversion architectural design of a former power station in Prague - Holešovice. Revitalisation of the area which isn´t accessible to public now, was designed in a prediploma project with a kolegue. The intention of the urban design was to create an attractive, vibrant place of life that includes residential, administrative and cultural functions. Emphasis was placed on the industrial potential of the site and the sensitive approach to historical values. The center of the territory is the square with a protected historical building of the power plant, which together with the brick chimney forms a natural dominant. The power station conversion design respects the aesthetic values of the historical building and preserves the perception of the interior. New features are brought into the interior with simple built-in volumes. There is an expansion of the public space of the square into the building where free organic movement of visitors is possible between various functions offering cultural and sports activities.
