Konverze elektrárny Holešovice

Abstract

Tato diplomová práce nabízí řešení na nové využití památkově chráněného objektu bývalé elektrárny v Praze - Holešovicích. Jedná se o industriální objekt složený ze dvou hal - bývalé strojovny a kotelny. V současné době není areál elektrárny přístupný veřejnosti a historická budova nemá žádné využití. Práce navazuje na předdiplomní projekt, který řešil urbanistickou studii rozvojového území Holešovice - Zátory. Nové urbanistické řešení zpřístupňuje areál široké veřejnosti a umožňuje využití elektrárny jako stavby pro kulturu - konkrétně galerii moderního umění. Práce obsahuje nejen konverzi v současnosti nevyužitých objektů na výstavní prostory galerie, ale také novostavbu vstupního lobby s restaurací. Novostavba je navržena v hmotovém i materiálovém kontrastu, avšak s respektem k historické architektuře.

This diploma thesis offers a solution for the new use of the monumentally protected building of the former power plant in Prague - Holešovice. It is an industrial building consisting of two halls - a former engine room and a boiler room. Currently the plant site is not accessible to the general public, and the historical building has no use. The work follows the pre-diploma project, which solved the urban study of the Holešovice - Zátory area. The new urban design makes the site accessible to the general public and allows to use the power plant as a building for culture - specifically as the gallery of modern art. The work includes not only the conversion of the currently unused objects into the exhibition spaces of the gallery, but also the new building of the lobby with restaurant. The new building is designed in volume and material contrast, but with respect to the historical architecture.
