Abstract

Obsahem diplomové práce je návrh Multi-komfortního domu v Dubajské čtvrti Cultural Village. Cultural Village v okrsku Al Džadaf zahrnuje 4 fáze. Lokalita určená k výstavbě fáze 2 - nové prosperující destinace v Dubaji s rozlohou přibližně 19 hektarů a celkovou hrubou podlažní plochou, která činí 400 189 m2. Cílem je vytvořit dynamickou a živou zastavěnou oblast, která přitáhne pozornost místních obyvatel a návštěvníků a co nejvíce využije výhod plynoucích ze strategické veřejné dopravy, malé vzdálenosti od nábřeží a historie této lokality. Řešený Multi-komfortní dům je součástí celku tří budov, umístěných v severní části pozemku, v těsné blízkosti nově vznikající knihovny Mohammeda Bin Rašída. Tento celek je založen na motivu plachet místních Dhow lodí. Prvek plachty je zde použit jako prvek schopný poskytovat stín, pracovat s větrem a v neposlední řadě je symbolem místní tradiční kultury. Objekt je řešen v multi-komfortním standardu, který je prosazován zadavatelem návrhu, společností Saint-Gobain.

The content of the master thesis is the design of a Multi-comfort house on the site of the Dubai quarter Cultural Village. Culture Village at the district Al Jaddaf encompasses 4 phases. The contest site is part of phase 2 - a new thriving destination within Dubai, with a land area of 19 hectares approximately and a total gross floor area of 400,189 m2. The goal is to create a dynamic and vibrant development offering attraction to the residents and visitors, while aximizing the benefits of the strategic public transport, proximity to the waterfront, and history of the site. Designed Multi-comfort House is part of a complex of three buildings. It is situated in the north part of the site, adjacent to the new Mohammed Bin Rashid Library. This complex is based on motif of the local boats called dhow and their sails. The sail element is used here as the element able to provide shadow, work with wind and last but not least it is a symbol of local traditional culture. Project also presents strategies in order to achieve Saint-Gobain Multi-Comfort criteria.
