Abstract

Předmětem diplomové práce je návrh čtyřhvězdičkového hotelu o kapacitě 98 lůžek s restaurací, barem, bazénem a wellness umístěného v Praze v blízkosti Strahovského stadionu. Forma stavby reaguje na kvality i na historii pozemku, na kterém je umístěna. Svou výškou a půdorysným tvarem se snaží co nejvíce využít zajímavých výhledů na město, především neotřelý pohled na Pražský hrad a jeho okolí ze západu. Tvar hotelu reaguje na historii své lokality spojenou s tělovýchovnou organizací Sokolem. Tvar vychází ze siluety ptáka, sokola. Pro části fasády se staly inspirací všesokolské slety. Při těchto sletech byl hlavní estetický vjem tvořen souzněním totožně cvičícího velkého množství lidí. Člověk se tedy v takovém obrovském měřítku stával jakýmsi prvkem, totožným s ostatními. Stejně tak jsou i části fasády tvořeny panely, obsahující pravidelné prohlubně o třech stranách v barvách české trikolory. Prohlubně tak reprezentují ony totožné prvky tvořící estetický vjem, jako lidi při sletech. Jelikož z různých úhlů je vidět různá strana prohlubně, mění fasáda pro svého pozorovatele jeho pohybem barvu.

The subject of the diploma thesis is the design of a four-star hotel with a capacity of 98 beds with restaurant, bar, swimming pool and wellness located in Prague near the Strahov Stadium. The shape of the building responds to the quality and history of the land on which it is located. With its height and ground plan, it tries to take advantage of the interesting views of the city, especially a unusual look at the Prague Castle and its surroundings from the west. The shape of the hotel responds to the history of its location, connected with the Sokol sporting organization. The shape is based on the silhouette of a bird, a falcon. The inspiration for the part of the facade became Sokol slet. In these slets, the main aesthetic impression was composed of a concurrently exercising of a large number of people. So, in such a mass, man became an element identical to others. Likewise, parts of the facade are made up of panels containing regular three-sided recesses in the colours of the Czech tricolour. The recesses represent the same elements constituting the aesthetic perception as the people in the slets. Since the different sides of the recess are visible from different angles, the facade changes its colour according to the movement of the observer.
