komparace Prahy a evropských měst z hlediska vlivu volebního systému na jejich rozvoj

Abstract

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá komparací Prahy a dalších evropských měst ve smyslu rozvoje kvality života a souvislosti tohoto rozvoje s rozhodovací moudrostí městského aparátu. V úvodu jsou popsána teoretická východiska, jejichž znalostí je základním předpokladem k pochopení dané problematiky. Dále je podrobně popisována jednotlivá analyzovaná data. Následující praktická část provádí výpočty hodnot korelací a vysvětluje, z jakého důvodu jsou či nejsou korelace nelezeny. Pro odborné porovnání různých faktorů, které mohou mít na kvalitu života v daném městě vliv, bylo použito statistické metody korelace dat, tedy určení míry souvislosti jednotlivých okolností. Tato metoda byla vybrána pro omezení subjektivity hodnocení. Velmi podstatným pro tuto diplomovou práci je žebříček hodnotící kvalitu života ve městě každoročně zveřejňovaný poradenskou společností MERCER. Z výsledků měření vyplývá, že nejdůležitějšími faktory ovlivňujícími kvalitu života ve městě je volební účast jeho obyvatel a agregát obsahující prvky jednoduchosti rozhodování daného města. Dosažené výsledky jsou v poslední části práce okomentovány.

This master thesis compares the quality of life growth and the context of this development with the wise decision-making of the city apparatus between Prague and other European cities. The introduction describes the theoretical background as an essential ground and predisposition for understanding the given topic, followed by a detailed description of data analysis. Subsequent practical part shows calculations of the correlation values and explains reasons why some were statistically significant, while others were not. For the comparisons of various factors that may influence the quality of life in a given city, the statistical method of data correlation, or in other words the determination of the extent to which the connection between individual circumstances matters, was used. This method was chosen to reduce the subjectivity of the evaluation. The quality of life in the city ranking, published annually by the MERCER consulting company, was essential for this master thesis. The results suggest that the most important factor influencing the quality of life in the city are the participation during elections and aggregate containing elements of the simplicity of decision making of the given city. The results are further discussed at the last section of the thesis.
