The main point of this Bachelor's project was to describe a spectrometry of secondary gamma (SG) radiation in research workplaces of the Research Centre (RC) Řež. Initially, the most important methods of the origin of SG radiation in a result of interactions of neutrons with matter are discussed. On the basis of the provided excursions in the laboratories of the RC Řež and studying of the proper literature, the most partially used measurement and calculation methods of SG radiation are described. The work is aimed at simplified simulation of SG in the program MCNP6 for the problem of the bench-mark type. The problem describes the set, which contains the source of neutrons in the centre of the sphere that is made of pure nature iron with the diameter of 50 cm. As a consequence, according to the comparison methods the results of the measurement with the stilbene spectrometer and simulation with respect to several nuclear data libraries are introduced.
