Způsoby prevence a eliminace projevů terorismu

Abstract

Problematika terorismu je v současnosti velmi frekventované téma. Důvodem je zejména narůstající počet teroristický útoků v Evropě i v celém světě. Terorismus je integrální součástí mediálního prostoru a hlavním bodem politických kampaní. I z toho důvodu jsou primárním zaměřením práce možnosti prevence a eliminace terorismu. Dílčí cíle práce pak jsou vymezení hrozby a metod terorismu. Analýza a komparace přístupu mezinárodních organizací (OSN, NATO, Rada Evropy, OBSE, EU), vybraných států (Spojené státy americké, Izrael, Velká Británie, Francie, Belgie) a zkoumání efektivity konkrétních metod prevence a eliminace terorismu (cílená likvidace, deradikalizace a resocializace). Dále práce předkládá výsledky dotazníkového šetření, mapující postoj široké české veřejnosti k problematice terorismu, vnímání hrozby terorismu a preference v rámci volby efektivního řešení. Na základě výstupu dotazníkového šetření, testování hypotéz, analýzy a komparace práce navrhuje možnosti efektivnějšího postupu v prevenci a eliminaci terorismu.

Currently, the issue of terrorism is a rather frequent topic. This is mainly due to the growing number of terrorist attacks across Europe and around the world. Terrorism occupies the attention of the media and is the main focus of political campaigns. For this reason, the thesis is primarily focused on the ways of preventing and eliminating terrorism. A partial objective of the thesis is the very definition of the threat and methods of terrorism. Analysis and comparison of the approach of international organizations (UN, NATO, Council of Europe, OSCE, EU) and of selected countries (United States of America, Israel, Great Britain, France, Belgium) and examination of the effectiveness of specific methods of prevention and elimination of terrorism (targeted liquidation, deradicalization, and resocialization). Furthermore, the thesis presents the results of a questionnaire survey that mapped the attitude of the Czech general public towards the issue of terrorism, their perception of the threat of terrorism, and their preference in terms of an effective solution to the threat. Based on the results of the questionnaire survey, hypothesis testing, analysis, and comparison, the thesis suggests effective ways of preventing and eliminating terrorism.
