Analýza aktov globálneho terorizmu v Európskej Únii

Abstract

Vo svojej bakalárskej práci som sa zameral na analýzu teroristických útokov v Európskej Únií spáchaných globálnym terorizmom. Bakalárska práca je rozdelená na dve časti, a to na časť teoretickú a praktickú. V teoretickej časti je popísaná definícia spolu so stručnou históriou a vývojovými štádiami terorizmu. Ďalej som sa v teoretickej časti zameral na typológiu terorizmu, na vybrané teroristické organizácie, ciele útokov a v boji proti terorizmu som rozpísal legislatívu v rámci Európskej Únie a možné opatrenia na zamedzenie útokov. V praktickej časti sú analyzované tri posledné najväčšie teroristické útoky z rokov 2016 a 2017 v Európe - Nice, Berlín a Londýn. Na základe zistených údajov som vykonal analýzu a komparáciu útokov, kde som svoje zistenia popísal v časti ,,výsledky". Výstupom práce sú taktiež navrhnuté protiopatrenia terorizmu Európskej Únii. Hlavným cieľom bakalárskej práce je podať čitateľovi stručný prehľad o terorizme a problematike terorizmu v rámci Európskej Únii, analyzovať vybrané teroristické útoky a navrhnúť možné teroristické protiopatrenia.

In my bachelor thesis, I focused on the analysis of terrorist attacks in the European Union caused by global terrorism. The bachelor thesis is divided into two parts, theoretical and practical. The theoretical part aims to define terrorism, and provide a brief history and developmental stages of terrorism. Furthermore, in the theoretical part, I focused on various types of terrorism, on selected terrorist organizations, the objectives of the attacks, and on counter terrorism, I defined legislation within the European Union and possible measures to prevent these attacks. In the practical part, the three most recent terrorist attacks from 2016 and 2017 in Europe - Nice, Berlin and London - are analyzed. On the basis of the data, I have analyzed and compared the attacks, and I have described my findings in the Results section. The outcome of the thesis also includes suggested counter terrorism measures in the European Union. The main aim of the bachelor thesis is to provide the reader with a brief overview of terrorism and terrorism-related issues within the European Union and to analyze selected terrorist attacks alongside possible countermeasures.
