Matky manažerky ve středních organizacích v České republice

Abstract

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá genderovou diskriminací v managementu středních organizací a současně sladěním rodinného a pracovního života matek na manažerských pozicích. Cílem práce je představení genderové nerovnosti na manažerských pozicích a zároveň poukázání na možnosti, které mají matky při péči o děti, či možný zaměstnavatel ve využití žen na manažerských pozicích. Je rozdělena na dvě části, teoretickou a praktickou. V teoretické části popisujeme základní terminologii, současnou legislativu, kulturní, historická a společenská východiska, ženy v rozhodovacích pozicích a slaďování práce a rodinného života. Praktická část je založená na výsledcích dotazníkového šetření manažerek, které jsou zároveň matkami malých dětí, a odhaluje současné trendy, jak se tyto ženy potýkají se slaďováním rodiny a práce a zároveň, jaké jsou jejich zkušenosti s genderovou diskriminací. Tato zjištění jsou hlavním výsledkem praktické části této práce a odhalují, že ženy na těchto pozicích se sice potýkají s genderovou diskriminací, ale také je jim poskytována možnost, jak lépe slaďovat rodinný a pracovní život a být tak přínosným zaměstnancem.

This thesis deals with gender discrimination in the management of medium-sized organizations, while reconciling work and family life of mothers in managerial positions. The aim is to show the gender gap in managerial positions, while pointing out the options that mothers have in taking care of children or the potential employer in the use of women in managerial positions. It is divided into two parts, theoretical and practical. Theoretical part describes the basic terminology, current legislation, cultural, historical and social conditions of women in decision-making positions and the reconciliation of work and family life. The practical part is based on the results of a questionnaire survey of managers who are also mothers of young children, which reveals current trends and how those women face in reconciling and at the same time, what are their experiences with gender discrimination. These findings are also the main result of practical part of this study revealing that women in these positions, although faced with gender discrimination, but they are given the possibility to better reconcile family and professional life and thus be beneficial employee.
