This bachelors thesis deals with enhancing first-aid training in the Prague Fire Brigade. The main aim of this thesis is to evaluate existing training methodologies and practices. This research endeavours to identify areas for improvement and propose effective strategies to enhance the overall quality of first-aid training programs. The theoretical exploration provides a comprehensive understanding of the historical, conceptual, and legal dimensions of first-aid training within the Prague Fire Brigade. By synthesising insights from diverse disciplinary perspectives, the research lays the groundwork for the empirical investigation that follows, informing the development of targeted interventions and policy recommendations aimed at enhancing the overall quality and effectiveness of first-aid training practices within the brigade. The practical component of this thesis centres on assessing the theoretical and practical proficiency of members within the Prague Fire Brigade. Data was collected from a minimum of SDQ respondents through the administration of an anonymised questionnaire. This data will be subjected to quantitative analysis and presented in both wriMen and graphical formats. The analysis aims to identify areas where theoretical knowledge and practical skills may require enhancement. Based on the findings, proposals for potential improvements will be formulated and discussed.cze
