Porovnání demonstruje efektivitu MLP neuronových sítí pro řízení robotických manipulátorů v reálném čase a navrhuje budoucí výzkum složitějších systémů a hybridních přístupů. Serial robotic manipulators are increasingly used in many areas of industry. They achieve the required positions by adjusting the mutual position and angles of their individual members. To achieve the desired position, these mutual angles and displacements must be calculated. This problem is called inverse kinematics. For simple manipulators there is an analytical solution, but for more complex ones, one of the more complex methods must be used. An alternative is to calculate in advance for each of the set angles or displacements in some step and for each of their combinations the achieved position and the desired setting, thus obtaining the desired position by interpolation. The thesis uses a single hidden layer shallow neural network (MLP) for interpolation purposes and the more common IDW (inverse distance weighting) method for comparison. The comparison demonstrates the effectiveness of MLP neural networks for real-time control of robotic manipulators and suggests future research into more complex systems and hybrid approaches.
