Výsledky zahrnují interpretaci naměřených hodnot popisně a pomocí grafů. This master's thesis deals with the use of electrotherapy in physiotherapy. The key topic is the application of different types of currents on different parts of body with different parameters. The theoretical part covers the history of electrotherapy and then outlines the clinical application in clinical use. The chapter further covers the different parameters of the currents with a focus on those used in the methodological part of this thesis. The methodological part of the thesis describes actual measurement procedure, its blinding, calibration of the instrument used and the type of statistical data processing. The results include the interpretation of the measured data descriptively and by means of diagrams. From the research, it was found that there is no statistically significant difference in electrical irritation between the anterior and posterior side of the dominant arm or between the dominant and non-dominant arm. It was further found that DF current induces artificial muscle twitch response using lower intensity and is subjectively better tolerated. The discussion primarily compares this work with global scientific publications. The author discusses the results of this work and possible applications of electrotherapy in a variety of areas of physiotherapy and medicine.
