Napriek ich dôležitosti, neboli doposiaľ v tejto oblasti odhalené všetky zákonitosti a vlastnosti, nakoľko sa jedná o široké spektrum vzájomných interakcií a parametrov jednotlivých metód. Hlavnou náplňou a cieľom tejto práce, bolo preto zhromaždiť teoretické poznatky z oblasti štruktúrnej röntgenografie duplexných ocelí a efektoch balotinovania a následne ich porovnať či rozšíriť o poznatky o vplyve tejto metódy získané experimentálnymi postupmi. Práca popisuje vývoj textúry, fázového zloženia a ich hĺbkový priebeh pre obe fázy duplexnej oceli zvlášť, v závislosti na intenzite balotinovania. Zároveň je do budúcna navrhnuté pokračovanie výskumu, ktorý by zahŕňal ďalšie kombinácie jednotlivých parametrov opracovania a tepelného spracovania oceľových vzoriek a priniesol tak rozšírenie doposiaľ získaných výsledkov a poznatkov. The presented thesis deals with the determination of the real structure, primarily the texture, or preferred orientation in duplex steels after their processing. The use of X ray diffraction techniques for this purpose is an example of applying theoretical knowledge of solid-state engineering in technical practice. Duplex steel belongs to a class of steels with wide applications. Shot peening is nowadays a commonly used practice for metal and alloy processing. These materials are often anisotropic polycrystals and exhibit preferred orientation. Such orientation often changes during mechanical or thermal processing. The anisotropy of macroscopic properties of these materials is influenced by their texture, which necessitates its determination and description after processing stages. Despite their importance, not all regularities and characteristics in this field have been fully revealed so far, as it involves a broad spectrum of interactions and parameters of individual methods. The focus and objective of this work were to gather theoretical knowledge in the field of X-ray diffraction of duplex steels and the effects of shot peening. Subsequently, these were compared or extended with insights into the impact of this method obtained through experimental procedures. The work describes the development of texture, phase composition, and their depth profiles for both phases of duplex steel separately, depending on the intensity of shot peening. Additionally, future research is proposed, which would include further combinations of individual processing and heat treatment parameters, leading to the expansion of the obtained results and knowledge.
