Vliv letecké dopravy na vybrané regiony v Turecku

Abstract

Otázka vztahu letecké dopravy a ekonomického rozvoje je obsáhlá a v poslední době čím dál tím víc diskutovaná. Současná klimatická situace iniciuje debaty týkající se smyslu udržitelnosti letecké dopravy. Turecká republika po roce 2003 zaznamenala rapidní nárůst letecké dopravy zapříčiněný uskutečněnou deregulací. Předmětem této diplomové práce je analýza vztahu letecké dopravy a ekonomické úrovně provincií v Turecké republice. K analýze vztahu jsou využity metody popisné statistiky a k ověření formulovaných hypotéz je využit lineární smíšený model. V práci se podařilo potvrdit hypotézu týkající se vztahu letecké dopravy a ukazatele hrubého domácího produktu a určení provincie/letiště s nejvýznamnějším vlivem, tato zjištění je v souladu s poznatky získanými z rešerše odborné literatury.

The issue of the relationship between air transport and economic development is a large and recently increasingly debated one. The current climate situation has initiated debates on the meaning of sustainability of air transport. The Republic of Turkey has seen a rapid increase in air traffic after 2003 due to the deregulation that has taken place. The subject of this thesis is the analysis of the relationship between air transport and the economic level of provinces in Turkey. Descriptive statistics methods are used to analyse the relationship and a linear mixed model is used to test the formulated hypotheses. The thesis succeeded in confirming the hypothesis regarding the relationship between air transport and gross domestic product indicator and identifying the province/airport with the most significant influence, these findings are in line with the findings obtained from the literature search.
