This work deals with the analysis of the galvanic skin response to increased human stress. For this work, the literature was studied in order to define the stress manifestations of human and determine the appropriate parameters of skin resistance to evaluate the response of the respondent to stress stimuli. The measurement was performed on a group of 158 respondents which were exposed to six kinds of animal in the order in which they have the least reaction to the phobic response. The practical part is devoted to the analysis of the recorded parameters of the measured skin resistance signals in the Matlab environment and the subsequent comparison to which animal the respondent has the highest response. The medians, areas under the curve, directives, deltas of time periods and the number of detected signal responses were compared. The most suitable parameters for the skin resistance analysis of this experiment were shown to be the medians and areas under the signal curve, which were successful with a success rate of about 60%.
