Experimentální ověření vlivu tloušťky 3D tištěných vzorků na parametry lomové houževnatosti; Experimental Verification of the Influence of Thickness on 3D Printed Samples on Fracture Toughness Parameters.
Petr Bočan
V současnosti se v biomedicínských aplikacích hojně zkoumají technologie aditivní výroby. Technologie 3D tisku přináší velké výhody tomuto průmyslu, protože díky ní lze vyrobit složité a rozmanité tvary. V práci je podrobně popsána výroba vzorků, návrh a průběh experimentu s následným vyhodnocením hodnot a porovnáním s hodnotami z numerického modelu.; Currently, additive manufacturing technologies are being widely explored in biomedicinal applications. 3D printing technology brings great benefits to this industry as it can produce complex and diverse shapes. The problem then arises with very thin samples, where this technology is still not perfect and shows relatively large uncertainty and manufacturing defects. In this thesis, I am mainly concerned with metal and polymer biomaterials that are used for the fabrication of replacements and implants. The main aspect of this thesis is to test the fracture toughness of very thin specimens fabricated by 3D printing using SLS technology. The fabrication of the specimens, the design and the experiment procedure are described in detail, followed by evaluation of the values and comparison with the values from the numerical model.

Simulace delaminace kompozitů založená na variačním modelu poškození; Simulation of delamination in composites based on a variational damage model
Numerický výpočet pak využívá algoritmus střídavé minimalizace energie a opravu řešení pomocí heuristického zpětného trasování energie uvedeného v A. Mielke a spol. [8]. Práce se podrobně věnuje postupu výpočtu, v rámci něhož uvádí postup pseudočasové diskretizace úlohy a geometrické diskretizace pomocí metody konečných prvků. V závěru práce je provedeno testování zmíněných algoritmů na dvou jednoduchých úlohách a je uvedeno krátké shrnutí výpočetní náročnosti úlohy.; The subject of this thesis is the study and numerical simulation of delamination in composites by means of an interfacial damage model. A part of work includes an in-house code implemented in Matlab®, which is freely accesible. The formulation of the problem is based on a variational rate-independent model solved with the alternating minimalization algorithm supplemented with the heuristic energy backtracking algorithm presented by A. Mielke et al. in [8] to avoid local minimum. This work discusses in detail the numerical scheme, which uses pseudo-time discretization of the problem and the finite element method to solve minimisation formulation. In the alternating minimization, displacement unknowns are updated with an active set method suitable for solving quadratic problems constrained by linear inequalities. Damage unknowns follow from an explicit formula for minimizing the total energy with respect to the damage unknows. The performance of the numerical procedure is illustrated with two delamination problems, followed by a discussion of the impact of model parameters on the algorithm.

Dynamická analýza existující lávky pro chodce.; The Dynamic Analysis of the Existing Footbridge.
The aim of this thesis is the experimental and theoretical analysis of the dynamic behavior of an existing footbridge and the subsequent analysis of the change in this behavior. In the research part, the issue of experimental dynamic analysis of footbridges is summarized and the structures on which a change in dynamic behavior was observed and its potential causes are described. The second part of the work is focused on the analysis of the dynamic behavior of the footbridge in the ŠKODA Auto a.s. complex in Mladá Boleslav. An experimental modal analysis was carried out on the footbridge, from which the natural frequencies and natural shapes were evaluated. The results of this experiment were compared with the results of older experiments that were performed on the footbridge. Furthermore, a theoretical 3D model of the footbridge was compiled, on which the natural frequencies and natural shapes were calculated. Subsequently, verification and identification of the footbridge model was done and on the identified model a simulation of factors that could be the cause of the observed changes in dynamic behavior was realized.

Globální optimalizace příhradových konstrukcí s využitím rámových prvků; Global optimization of truss structures using frame elements
Šimon Glanc
Tato diplomová práce zkoumá globální optimalizaci příhradových konstrukcí s využitím dvou hlavních formulací: Simultánní analýzou a návrhem (SAND) a Vnořenou analýzou a návrhem (NAND). Snížením modularity se dosáhlo menšího materiálového objemu, avšak s nárůstem výpočetního času.; This master's thesis explores the global optimization of truss structures using two main formulations: Simultaneous Analysis and Design (SAND) and Nested Analysis and Design (NAND). The objective was to compare the results of both formulations and assess their effectiveness in optimizing structures employing truss and frame elements. Experiments were conducted on a specific truss structure, evaluated according to Eurocode for stability assessment. The Branch-and-Bound method (BnB) was utilized for the SAND formulation, while the Simulated Annealing method (SA) was employed for NAND formulation. The BnB method led to the discovery of the global optimum but inadequately considered global stability constraints, evaluated according to Eurocode for stability assessment afterwards. Conversely, the SA method yielded structures with a higher material volume while maintaining stability, althought without finding the global optimum. Furthermore, the impact of the structure's modularity on the achieved results was examined, considering various levels of modularity. Reducing modularity resulted in a smaller material volume but with an increase in computational time.
