Abstract

Disertační práce analyzuje vývoj a výrobu elektrochemických článků v českých zemích a v Československu v období 1889 (resp. 1919) – 1945 a ve stejné době charakterizuje rozvoj firmy Pála a spol. (Palaba Slaný), která se na výrobě baterií a akumulátorů v českém prostředí významně podílela. Práce nabízí i biogram zakladatele a vedoucího firmy Jaroslava Jana Pály, českého elektrotechnika, podnikatele, vynálezce a regionálního politika.The dissertation analyzes the development and production of electrochemical cells in the Czech lands and in Czechoslovakia in the period 1889 (respectively 1919) – 1945 and at the same time characterizes the development of the company Pála Ltd. (Palaba Slaný), which played a significant role in the production of batteries and accumulators in the Czech environment. The work also offers a biogram of the founder and head of the company Jaroslav Jan Pála, a Czech electrical engineer, entrepreneur, inventor and regional politician.
