Abstract

Zadáním diplomové práce bylo navržení dominanty nového lokálního centra Mladé Boleslavi. Tato dominanta je umístěna na náměstí s výhledem na hlavní osu pěší zóny. Logickou funkcí tohoto objektu byla budova sLoužící jako prostory pro setkávání, vzdělání a práci i volnočasové aktivity, tedy moderní Knihovnu současnosti. Celý objekt je hlavní dominantou nově navrženého urbanistického centra a konceptuálně je pojat jako neustále se měnící organismus, jakým by se měl stát i svým využitím.The assignment of the diploma thesis was to design the dominant feature of the new local centre of Mladá Boleslav. This feature is located on the square overlooking the main axis of the pedestrian zone. The logical function of this object was a building serving as a space for meeting, education, work and leisure activities, i.e. a modern Library of Today. The whole building is the main landmark of the newly designed urban centre and is conceptually conceived as an ever-changing organism, as it should become in its use.
