Abstract

Objekt je umístěn do historického prostředí kláštera Na Slovanech při ulici Vyšehradská v Praze 2 na Novém Městě. Je navržen s ohledem na místní poměry, uplatňuje metodu kontextu, doplňuje uliční řadu bytových domů v ulici Vyšehradská a současně zachovává všechny existující vztahy s okolím a dobrou prostupnost územím. V přízemí se nachází posluchárna, kavárna, prostup objektem do klášterních zahrad a garáže, v prvním patře dominuje knihovna, ve druhém patře převládají učebny různých velikostí a ve třetím patře se nachází kabinety pedagogů.The building is located in the historic environment of the Na Slovanech monastery at Vyšehradská Street in Prague 2, New Town. It is designed with regard to local conditions, applies the method of context, complements the street line of apartment buildings in Vyšehradská street and at the same time preserves all existing relations with the environment and good permeability of the area. On the ground floor there is a lecture hall, a café, a passage through the building to the monastery gardens and a garage, on the first floor there is a library, on the second floor there are classrooms of various sizes and on the third floor there are teachers' offices.
