Abstract
Diplomová práca je urbanistickou štúdiou časti mesta Púchov, ktorá je tvorená z väčšej časti priemyselnou zónou. Aj napriek jej blízkosti centra je vnímaná ako neživý okraj. V práci analyzujem toto územie a navrhujem novú výstavbu a verejné priestory, ktoré pomôžu zregenerovať kedysi významné miesto. Zároveň podporí rozvoj mesta o nové funkcie a aktivity.
The diploma thesis deals with an urban study of the Púchov town´s part. The part comprises mainly of the industrial area and despite of its closeness to the centre, it is perceived as lifeless periphery. The thesis analyses this area as well as designs new urban structure and public spaces that would help to revive formerly important place and support the town´s development with new functions and activities.
