Nová koncertní síň pro Prahu na Vltavské

Abstract

Předmětem diplomové práce je návrh nové budovy Koncertní síně pro Prahu na nábřeží Kapitána Jaroše v pražských Holešovicích. Samotné diplomové práci předcházel návrh urbanistické zástavby, který měl zdůraznit významnou kulturní ale i architektonickou dominantu celé Prahy, tedy nový objekt pražské filharmonie. Ta v České republice nepochybně schází, přestože zde má domov jeden z nejuznávanějších symfonických orchestrů na světě. Země s tak bohatou hudební historií si beze sporu zaslouží důstojný reprezentativní prostor pro konání koncertů a dalších nejen hudebních příležitostí.The subject of the diploma thesis is the design of a new building of the Concert Hall in Prague on the Cpt. Jaroš Embankment in Holešovice district. The thesis itself was preceded by an urban development proposal, which was to emphasize an important cultural but also architectural landmark of Prague, i.e. the new building of the Prague Philharmonic Hall. This is undoubtedly lacking in the Czech Republic, even though it is home to one of the most renowned symphony orchestras in the world. A country with such a rich musical history deserves without a doubt a respectable representative space for not only musical production but also other occasions.
