Abstract

Bakalářská práce seznamuje veřejnost s rozdíly manažerských informačních systémů (MIS) a ostatních informačních systémů (IS). Jejím cílem je potvrdit hypotézu, že se firmy zabývají vývojem nových technologií a že jsou pro ně MIS lukrativním oborem v současnosti i v budoucnosti. Práce je rozdělena do dvou částí. Teoretická část se věnuje již řečeným rozdílům mezi IS. Praktická část zjišťuje, jakými oblastmi MIS se vybrané firmy zabývají, a jak se jim ekonomicky daří. V této části práce byla též potvrzena hypotéza, jenž je stěžejním cílem práce.The bachelor thesis introduces differences between various Management Information Systems (MIS) and other Information Systems (IS). Its aim is to confirm the hypothesis that the firms develop new technologies and that MIS is profitable for them in the present and is expected to do so in the future. The thesis is divided into two parts. The theoretical part discusses differences between various IS. The practical part investigates areas of MIS that are used by the firms and how the firms are doing economically. This part of the thesis confirmed the hypothesis, meaning that the major goal of the thesis was fulfilled.
