Jablonec n/Nisou - Jižní centrum - Dům skla a bižuterie

Abstract

Jablonec nad Nisou je svým založením městského centra na unikátním terénním reliéfu a svou jasnou uliční strukturou představuje obrovský potenciál k dotvoření obrazu věhlasu města, vybudovaného zejména pro svou výrobu a export jablonecké bižuterie. Zásadním problémem v obrazu města je v současnosti jižní okraj historického centra, který je zdevastovaný a nevytváří jasné vymezení centra. Hlavním cílem diplomové práce proto bylo vytvoření plnohodnotné "brány'' do městského centra vybízející ke vstupu z hlavní trasy Praha - Jizerské hory. Zároveň návrh dotváří a uceluje blokovou zástavbu historického centra s vazbou na širší okolí, řešené v předdiplomním projektu. Důkladnou prostorovou analýzou místa bylo v projektu pracováno také s dalšími potenciály města, jakými jsou: kompozice dominant města, prodloužení a ukončení jabloneckých "benátek" s tím související zpřístupnění řeky Lužická Nisa a návaznost na posloupnost náměstí. Volba funkce objektu reaguje na významnost řešené parcely v rámci Jablonce nad Nisou, a proto je navržen víceúčelový prodejní Dům skla a bižuterie.The city of Jablonec nad Nisou represents a huge potential for completing the image of the fame of the city built mostly for its production and export of jewellery. The center of the city was founded in a unique field of relief and it has a very clear street structure. The fundamental problem in the image of the city is nowadays the southern edge of the historic center, which is devastated and does not create a clear definition of the city. The main aim of this study was to establish a full 'gateway' to the city center inviting people to join the main route from Prague to the Giant Mountains. This study also completes buildings in historic city center and aims to link them to the wider surroundings. Overall analysis of spatial locations of the city also worked with other potentials of the city, such as the composition of the landmarks of the city. The selection of the function of the building responds to the significance of the parcels within Jablonec nad Nisou and it is therefore designed as a multipurpose Sales House of Glass and Jewellery.
