Abstract
This bachelor's thesis examines the social climate of an elementary school in Prague. It aims to identify and describe the school climate as perceived by students in the 8th and 9th grades and simultaneously analyzes the attitudes of the teaching staff on the given topic. The aim of the research probe is to determine how students and teachers perceive relationships with each other, safety at school, integration of Ukrainian students and other related factors. Two questionnaires were used to analyze the opinions of teachers and students. The results of the empirical research were provided to the school management as feedback. The first chapter of the theoretical part is devoted to the school climate and factors that affect it. The next chapter focuses on the issue of foreigners at Czech primary schools. The empirical part has a quantitative qualitative design, where the dominant method is a questionnaire with open and closed items, supplemented by an open question, which is intended to deepen the insight into the attitudinal orientation of pupils and teachers, where the interviewed pupils and teachers freely express their opinions without quantification. The questionnaire for pupils consists of 7 items and the questionnaire for teachers consists of 7 items. Individual questions were created on the basis of research questions and their comprehensibility was verified in the pre-research, when the questionnaire was presented to two pupils and one teacher. The full text of the questionnaire is provided in the attachments to this thesis.
