MIDI stage piano

Abstract

Cílem této práce bylo vytvořit prostředí pro živou hudební produkci, které by využívalo virtuálních hudebních nástrojů a zároveň přinášelo výhody čistě hardwarových hudebních nástrojů. Byla provedena rešerše existujících řešení a následně navržen systém s využitím počítače a připojené MIDI klaviatury s prezentačními prvky. Součástí práce je i implementace navrženého řešení, která byla otestována na úrovni uživatelských testů.The main objective of this thesis is to develop a platform suitable for live music performance combining usage of virtual music instruments and advantages of standalone electronic instruments. After research of possible solutions was made, custom system using computer and external MIDI controller with presentation elements was designed. The system was implemented for real-world usage and evaluated within user testing process.
