Analýza připravenosti Všeobecné fakultní nemocnice v Praze na řešení epidemie

Abstract

Diplomová práce se zabývá analýzou připravenosti Všeobecné fakultní nemocnice v Praze na epidemii, aktivaci pandemického plánu se zaměřením na zvládnutí situace při pandemii SARS-CoV-2. V teoretické části jsou vysvětleny důležité pojmy související s danou problematikou pandemie, právní předpisy související se zvládáním pandemie ve zdravotnictví. Dále se tato část zabývá rychlým shrnutím světových epidemií v historii lidstva, popisem viru SARS-CoV-2, situací České republiky od počátku propuknutí pandemie, krizovou připraveností nemocnic na propuknutí epidemie nebo pandemie, traumatologickým plánem, pandemickým plánem a ochrannými pomůckami. V neposlední řadě je zde obecně popsána Všeobecná fakultní nemocnice v Praze, oddělení, na kterých se starají o pacienty s nákazou SARS-CoV-2. V praktické části je rozebrán pandemický plán VFN. Na základě právě probíhající pandemické situace byla provedena analýza pandemického plánu VFN. Za pomocí SWOT analýzy byly určeny silné a slabé stránky, příležitosti a hrozby VFN na propuknutí pandemie SARS-CoV-2. Výsledky byly blíže rozebrány a byla navržena možná doporučení, která mohou přispět ke zlepšení situace.The diploma thesis deals with the analysis of the readiness of the General University Hospital in Prague for an epidemic, the activation of a pandemic plan with a focus on managing the situation during the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic. The theoretical part explains important concepts related to the issue of pandemics; legislation related to managing the pandemic in health care. Furthermore, this part deals with a quick summary of global epidemics in human history, a description of the SARS-CoV-2 virus, the situation in the Czech Republic since the beginning of the pandemic, emergency preparedness of hospitals for an epidemic or pandemic, trauma plan, pandemic plan and protective equipment. Last but not least, the General University Hospital in Prague and the departments where they care for patients with SARS-CoV-2 infection are generally described here. In the practical part, the pandemic plan of the General Hospital is analyzed. Based on the ongoing pandemic situation, an analysis of the VFN pandemic plan was performed. Using SWOT analysis, the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats of the VFN were identified for the outbreak of the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic. The results have been discussed in more detail, and possible recommendations have been suggested that may contribute to improving the situation.
