Abstract
The subject of this bachelor thesis is the design of a family house with the requirement for low energy consumption and delivery of the project at the documentation level for the building permit. The parcel is located in an attractive and quiet part of Prague 6, Hanspaulka. The land has sloping terrain to the south and offers a wonderful view to Hradčany. Due to the location and size of the building, the building is designed as a two-generation building. The idea of the design is based mainly on the terrain and the effort to allow a comprehensive view. The family house is divided into grandparents' living space, four-person family living space and common spaces. This arrangement is evident from the mass solution. Two separate masses are interconnected by the third airy and illuminated mass, where is a common entrance hall with a staircase. The design emphasized the interconnection of the interior spaces with the exterior and the great brightness of the main rooms.
