Abstract
The Bachelor paper deals with the problems of usability of localisation systems within the scope of protection of citizens. The work is aimed at different methods of localising people by the means of both, simple systems such as landmarks, as well as more complicated ones, using commonly available technique. The theoretical part depicts the possibilities of localisation through specific systems and these systems are described here. Basic terms related to the problems of localising people are furthermore clarified. The empiric part outlines aims and hypotheses, characterises the sample and research methods. The aim was to find out about the knowledge of the general public on available localisation systems and possibilities of their use. It concurrently determines potential flaws within this area. The results are assessed and presented in charts. The conclusion summarises the results and points out the flaws within the field of localisation. It also provides suggestions on how to remove or minimize the flaws.
