Abstract
The thesis is devoted to the influence of alcohol on human visual functions. In addition to the general anatomy of the eye, theories concerning binocular vision, accommodation, convergence or the influence of alcohol on eyesight and the whole organism are also included in order to better understand the research problem. A list of various researches that have previously dealt with this issue, including their conclusions, is prepared in the form of a research. The aim of this thesis is to compare the results of visual functions measured using various tests for bulb motility, accommodation, convergence or fusion reserves. The results are further evaluated using graphs and tables and compared with the results of previous research. The experimental part consists of two identical measurements. The first measurement was performed in a sober state of the subjects and the second measurement after alcohol consumption. Between these measurements, a breath test was performed using a digital alcohol tester. 15 subjects participated in the experiment. Due to the apparent squint that was present in one of the subjects, this one subject had to be excluded from the experiment. The result of the thesis was verification and evaluation of the effect of alcohol on visual functions.
