Abstract
The subject of the bachelor thesis is the design of a luxury family house for a family of four. The family house is located in a newly proposed golf resort in the cadastral area of Prague - Ruzyně in the municipal district of Prague 6 - Dejvice, near the Divoká Šárka Nature Reserve. The aim was to create an architectural study including selected parts of the documentation for building permission/construction execution. The designated plot of land covers a total area of 3428 m2, sloping northwards towards the forest. The main idea was to create modern living with a view to the garden and further to the forest. The building completely closes off from the street and opens up to the garden, thus providing private living despite large glazed areas oriented to the north and west. The dominant element of the design is the view through the building, leading from the entrance all the way to the garden, dividing the building into public and private areas. The construction with glazed surfaces brings the interior closer to the nearby beautiful nature. The entire connection with greenery is emphasized by the green atrium, located in the central part of the house.
