Abstract
The thesis deals with the scattering problem for the Dirac equation. In particular, the reflection and transmission coefficients for the step-like, rectangular, and delta potentials are calculated. An unexpected dependence of these coefficients on energy, known as the Klein paradox, is discussed. Finally, we compare the scattering coefficients for the delta interaction and its approximation by scaled rectangular potentials.
