Tvorba nové letecké linky a její profitabilita

Abstract

Předmětem diplomové práce "Tvorba nové letecké linky a její profitabilita" je studie tématu tvorby leteckých linek, který je úzce spřažen s provozními náklady aerolinií. Práce je rozdělena na několik podkapitol, jejichž náplní je popsat dosavadní vývoj na evropském trhu letecké dopravy s ohledem na strategii leteckých dopravců a obchodní modely, které taktéž prochází zásadní transformací, a důvody, proč k takovým změnám dochází. V dalších částech se práce zabývá vybranými aspekty spojenými s tvorbou nové letecké linky a poukazuje zejména na ty, které jsou nejvíce využívány nízkonákladovými dopravci za účelem minimalizace provozních nákladů. Případová studie pak využívá teoretického základu jak výkonnostních ukazatelů, tak metod alokace nákladů a popisuje tvorbu modelu letecké linky mezi letišti Pardubice a Londýn Stansted pomocí vlastní metodologie. Model pak tvoří základ jak pro vyhodnocení závažnosti jednotlivých nákladových položek, tak pro výpočet finančních ukazatelů profitability linky, jejichž hodnoty jsou dále vztaženy ke vstupním provozním parametrům s cílem porovnat jejich vzájemné ovlivňování.The subject of the thesis "Creation and Profitability of a new Flight Line" is a study of the topic of air route creation, which is closely linked to operating costs of an airline. The thesis is divided into several subchapters which firstly describe the developments in the European air transport market to date with regard to airline strategy and business models that are also undergoing a major transformation and the reasons for such changes. In the next parts the thesis deals with selected aspects connected with the creation of a new air route and points out especially those which are most used by low cost carriers to minimize operating costs. The case study then uses the theoretical basis of both performance indicators and aspects of airline design and describes the creation of a model of an air route between Pardubice and London Stansted using my own methodology. The model then forms the basis both for evaluating the severity of individual cost items and for calculating the air route profitability using financial indicators, values ?of which are further related to the input operating parameters in order to compare their reciprocal influence.
