Abstract

Kultúrne a vzdelávacie centrum Bubeneč sa nachádza na križovatke ciest Rooseveltova a U Zeměpisného ústavu v Prahe. Koncept budovy je založený na prepojení parku Ve struhách a ulicou Rooseveltova. Tvar budovy pozostáva z kombinácie troch hmôt. Východná hmota reprezentuje hlavný spoločenský sál orientovaný do parku. Prepojenie so západnou hmotou, kde sú umiestnené učebne, kaviareň a klubovne predstavuje presklené átrium, ktoré plynule pokračuje do poloverejnej terasy. Budova pozostáva z dvoch nadzemných podlaží a jedného podzemného.Cultural and educational center Bubeneč is located at the intersection of Roosevelt and U Zeměpisného ústavu street in Prague. Building concept is based on linking the "Ve Struhách" park with the Roosevelt street. The shape of the building consists of a combination of three masses. The eastern mass represents a major social hall oriented to the park. Connection with western mass, where educational classrooms, café, and lounge are located, with social hall represents glazed atrium which smoothly continues to the semi-public terrace. The building has two upper floors and one underground floor.
